Jose is a former member of the Second Generation dancers. In 1975, she performed with them in The Second Generation Show at the Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow. The same year, she acted in, and choreographed for, the musical film Counterpoint Kill, which was shot on location in South Africa. She later joined Dee Dee Wilde's Pan's People.
