'Barbados' - Typically Tropical (24 July & 23 December 1975)
As per special request, here are the two surviving Pan's People performances to Barbados! I'm told the first version of 17 July was wiped, but small clips of it survive in the 24 July version.
Not so much Pan's action in the first video, but there is a small treat for Sue fans!

The full air stewardess
The full air stewardess routine had been on the previous weeks show 17/7/75 without the group but is unfortunately now wiped. It featured all five girl slipping out of those uniforms into beach attire with Sue fooling about in flippers, goggles and water wings for a while before the brief snippet included in the 24/7 clip.

Its a good job the BBC stopped destroying TOTP history from April 1976...bet they felt pretty foolish by that point.
I wonder how many episodes from the 1970s pre 1976 survives, anyone know?.

Yes it was a memorable number
Yes it was a memorable number with all five girls in fine form chasing after that beach ball, only briefly interrupted by shots of aircraft on the screen behind them. I recall it in part as the first time I remember seeing Sue hamming it up.

I was crazy about Mary and Lee as a 10 year old and still crazy about them today, I am fasinated by the final line up of Pans People and full of wonder of what could of been if they could of continued through the late 1970s.

I think Ruth ended her Pans People career with a bang in 1976, just look at the energy she put into the routines for Jungle Rock and Silver Star.
I think Ruth during the final year or so of Pans People was looking totaly amazing, I bet many male hearts were broken when Pans People came to an end.
