Songs You Would Like To See the Girls Dancing To

I recently mentioned on my Lulu screen caps thread that Lulu could dance to “Isn’t She Lovely” (I was also thinking of he Stevie Wonder version).  I also asked posed the question to Lulu what song would she liked to have done a routine to.

Wonder what songs would you liked to see the girls do a routine to.

I for my self have done a completion of Lulu to the Jeff Lynne version of “Xanadu“. I also think that the Elton John track “Tiny Dancer” would have been good for the girls but it didn’t chart in this country.

I would like to have seen Pan's People dance to:

'Muscle Of Love'   by   Alice Cooper - 1974.

I don't know how Flick would have choreographed it ?........maybe in a fitness gym with lots of camera tricks?......Please someone tell me they actually did do a routine to this number....yipee!!!!...... :)

Here it is:

I think that the girls would dance like “Chicago-I'm a Man” or “Ike & Tina Turner-Nutbush City Limits” very fast and very funky

Love to see Pan's People dance to the theme from shaft by isaac hayes. Early disco. Hot Gossip danced to like and it was a great number.

I was just thinking Rosie could do a solo to Love "Grows Where My Rosemary Goes" by Edison Lighthouse if they re-issued it from 1970

Talking of song titles featuring the names of dancers, what about Mary of Pan's People doing a solo dance routine to Proud Mary, either version that became a hit single!

Car 67 Driver 67 seems practically impossible to choreograph so this would be a challenge! But I have found a couple of ways in which it might be possible. This version is the lesser known, with the Birmingham man replaced:

...the taxi controller is from the US, indeed sounding like Kermit the frog, so perhaps on account of her US nationality Flick could have done this voice part: "what's wrong....Ralph"?! (Lulu has previous driving experience, perhaps she could be the disappointed driver).

Alternatively we could have Ruby Flipper as the Carsick Seven?

BTW here is the original all-British version.

The song is twee, for sure, but I love the look on the bloke's face at 0:37 when he realises he should be picking up the girl...

My Idea for a Car 67 routine is, Lulu's the taxi driver, but she has to pick up an ex-boyfriend, maybe the controller could be DLT, putting on a scouters accent, just like his Convoy GB character, the other girls of Legs & Co. volunteer to wash Lulu's Taxi as it stands stationary while Lulu tries to get out of picking up her latest fare!
