It's fantastic to hear her voice on this clip, Lee and Mary Fan.  I for one am looking forward to hearing the finished interview!

Yes, Dee Dee does sound lovely in the interview she did during the Special Music Radio event at Weymouth Harbour, at times, it felt as if I was dreaming having Dee Dee and Henry on board our hired boat Als Spirit and taking them for a pub meat at The Ship Inn, it was really lovely, everyone got on well.

I think everyone will be impressed by how happy and relaxed Dee Dee & Henry were during the interview.

Anyway, a couple of short edits to sort out so it shouldnt be too long now.

Looking forward to the actual interview.The sound quality is really crisp & clear.Nice to hear L&MF introduce Dee Dee & Henry & that was Mandy there?.I know you had a brilliant memorable day PJ & one you'll always cherish . I only wish I could have been there myself , but I bet I am not alone in thinking this on here lol!.Thanks PJ for your dedication & hard work in making this happen & thankyou Dee Dee for granting this interview which we all can't wait for.........bring it on !!....asap.....excellent.......

Thank You Peter,

I only did the introduction, I then handed the mic over to Mandy, yes, thats Mandy who you can hear on the interview Trailer, the questions were asked by Mandy and Nancy.....I think they did a grand job, I was sat in the wheelhouse Skippers seat enjoying every moment.

Its not a very big wheelhouse, so it was quite a squeeze having five people in there all at once.

The hour passed by so quickly, what a great way to finish the three day event, I am still feeling very proud that we had Dee Dee & Henry on board, I would never of dreampt this would happen when we did the 2011 event.

I know that for sure.I can hardly wait.The trailer has got us all wanting more.Btw PJ was one of the songs selected to play on the show : 'Sloop John B' ?. Lol......

Hi Peter,

I will have to look at the list Dee Dee sent me with her favourite songs, it may just be on there, I can remember she chose God Only Knows by The Beach Boys.

We never played music tracks between the interview as we were prest for time, we had a pub meal and then it was a case of getting back to the boat and getting the interview done in under an hour so Henry and Dee Dee could get back, they could only stay for around three and a half hours and that ran over by around half an hour, they were good sports and they enjoyed their afternoon.

The Trailer for the interview came from my studio back up recording, the main recording for the interview was made on Mandys Laptop/mic, so it should sound even better as Mandy can remix the sound levels on a computer programme she has.

Maybe someday I will get a chance to do another event with Dee Dee and this time get to play her favourite music, she selected some great tracks.
