This is them dancing on German Eurovision song contest - originally to the Clapping song.

They danced to Beatles Get back on the same prog.

Wishing for a few more pixels

thanks Flight

Both this and "Get Back" are to be found on OFTDs where they have been for some time.  I would reckon that the quality there is also better than this YouTube clip; it won't be worse since OFTDs will be where this clip has originated from.

Thanks guys.Yes it's on OFTD as 'Pan's People - 'The Clapping Song' ,which is the original song to this video. The other song with it is The Beatles 'Get Back' .

It's not the Shirley Ellis version but it sounds like Alan Price & Georgie Fame singing 'The Clapping Song' .Therefore was this an outtake from 'The Price of Fame' BBC-2 Thursday 10-05pm 20 & 27 November 1969 ?. Or was it included in those broadcast shows.I was generally disapointed by the P P inclusion of these show because although in colour; P P appear merely 'decorative' in the background to the show's other stars. The audience in this video doesn't look like the audience in 'The Price Of Fame'.Was it filmed seperately for inclusion of 'TPOF' or is it 'live' on German Eurovision 1970.Also P P dancing to The Beatles Get Back would not have likely been used in 'TPOF',wouldn't make sense.

The 'German Eurovision 1970' tag is confusing. The actual 'Eurovision' of that year was held in Holland. Was this just the Germany's own coverage with P P appearing in the 'interlude'.Or was it the German Eurovision to pick their choice for Eurovision Finals?.The lady compere seems to suggest that this is from 'London' so did German tv 'borrow' outtakes from 'The Price Of Fame' tv series or is this live in a German tv studio?.Probably our good friends: 'Einsfestival' .Was it pre-recorded in late 1969,as I thought or is it 'live' from spring 1970 ;the time when Eurovision S C takes place every year.

The lady is saying that the girls are from London.

Thanks Suefan.I think the German's lady's name is Marie-Louise Steinbauer .The 'qualifying' German Eurovision programme took place in Frankfurt on Monday 16th February 1970. If it was 'live' & Pan's People performed 2 numbers in the interlude then it would have been 2 days before they prerecorded & performed 'Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye' on TOTP.Just speculation at this stage.
