Wasn't Ruth Pearson one of The Beat Girls?

Here are the name's of Dee Dee Wilde's Pan's People if you wanted to add them for another bio,
Dee Dee Wilde, Carol Fletcher, Sarah Brightman, Pauline Crawford, Louise English, Abigail Higgins, Sarah Woollett and Clair Lutter. There are more but not sure of their names.
I saw a pic of them once dating 1980

Patricia McSherry was also a member of Dee Dee's Pan's People
Just to add to the mix, when
Just to add to the mix, when Legs & Co completed their TOTP stint and Gill, Rosie and Anita left Patricia McSherry was one of the new girls to join Patti, Lulu and Sue in what I refer to as Legs Mk2.
Thanks Dave,
Thanks Dave,
I'll get a section up for them shortly.
Ladybirds and Dee Dee's PP
Added names for Dee Dee Wilde's Pan's People (post TOTP) and the Ladybirds.
Let me know if there's any errors, then I'll create stub biography pages for them.
Legs & Co Mark II
I've added a section for Suefan's post TOTP Legs & Co Mark II.
Are these names complete and correct?
We must have the best part of a hundred names now! Quite a change from our origins as a "Classic Pan's" site!
Hi Panfan, having reread what
Hi Panfan, having reread what I'd written I see I've made a mistake as regards when Gill left Legs. Therefore, I have copied a posting from the OFTD blog sent in by Susie (also know by us lot over there as the 'oracle') who is much more knowledgeable than the rest of us on the girls post-TOTP.
"When Pauline left, Anita was drafted in and [after the end of their run on TOTP] they could travel further afield touring instead of one nighters such as to Germany, Cairo ,Dubai,Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, often entertaining the British ex pats . Rosie had actually left at the end of TOTP so did not tour with them as she moved on to join Guys and Dolls working in Germany. Gill was next to leave after their first trip to Cairo...I believe to get married. Anita was next to leave joining Toto Coella (singing group). That was when Patricia McSherry, Sandra Easby and Liz Greene signed on. The group continued but by then Lulu, Patti and Sue were running the group themselves as they had parted company with both Ruth and Flick. Approx, 6months or so later Sandra and Liz left and one last final change to the line up was made. Tanya Lee was recruited and the group remained as a 5 piece....they continued with the cabaret shows abroard and did the Video Entertainers on Granada which I believe was their last tv appearance until Jeff Simpson from the BBC reunited the original 6 members to appear in TOTPs True Story programme."
The girls appeared on the Granada TV show "The Video Entertainers" on 27/07/82 when they did a couple of dances to "Jailbait" and "Viva Las Vegas". Mediocre copies of both are in private collections, although I've no idea if Granada still have them in their archive. By this date the line up comprised Lulu, Patti, Sue, Patricia and Tanya. Exactly when they disbanded is maybe a question for either Lulu or Susan but we think it was around 83/84.
Legs Mark II continued
Thanks SF for all the info. I asked Sue to comment on your post and she confirms the line up seems ok. She has very kindly volunteered to check her old diaries on the details and will get back in due course. She said post TOTP they were more in cabaret that on TV and were able to do many performances that the TOTP commitment prevented them from doing previously.
Good stuff. After my earlier
Good stuff. After my earlier posting a couple more questions came to me so I've added them to the other thread.
The Ladybirds?
In the Price of Fame, there is an end credit that runs as follows: "Vocal backing: Kay Garner, Lesley Duncan, Anne Simmons,The Ladybirds".
I'm not quite sure if it means these names comprise the Ladybirds, or if the Ladybirds are vocal backing in addition to these names.
If the former - we have more names to add!
Any Ladybirds experts here know? Lee Mary Fan?
Having rewatched it last
Having rewatched it last night, it does look like the Ladybirds were seprate from other singers.
Mary and Lee Details
Lee was 19 when started and starsign is Virgo
Mary was 17 when started and starsign is Taurus
Thanks Andy
Hi Andy,
Thanks for adding those details, always nice to learn more about my favourite Pans People members.
Jimmy Savile
Not a dancer, but clearly a Pans fan, can we have a mention of Jimmy. I met him once at a small party in Leeds and found him a rather quiet person who did not hog the limelight but paid a lovely tribute to the main guest, an other charity volunteer. . In 1973-5 my wife worked at Leeds Infirmary and he had a great reputation as a caring porter. Unlike some folk he got on with such work even when there were no photographers !
Sure thing John.
Sure thing John.
I'll add him in when I get a chance later on.
Sir Jim
I've added in a stub for Sir Jimmy, and we'll put something in in due course.
I have never met him but I remember seeing how great he was at getting things done in behind the scenes footage for Fix It. He was some personality, a one of a kind.
I was following reports of his hospitalisation a few weeks ago and worried for his health and thought he's turned a corner, but sadly it was not to be.....
any news on Gill?
News of what happened to Gill Clark(e) after Legs & Co seem to be almost non-existent. Does anyone have a clue as to what she did?

How about a section for Hill's Angel's, my friend Penny danced with them?

Hills Angels?
Sorry, just noticed your comment there, TOTP Fan! Should we go for Hill's Angels too??!
Thanks to gibb1962!
I want to thank gibb1962 for doing all the thumbnails for PP, RF and LC - saved me a lot of time!!!
